Directions to the Program in Critical and Creative Thinking
Once on campus, Wheatley Hall is in the farthest building (in southwest direction) from the bus stop. You can get there on level 1 walking across the plaza, or level two, by wending your way along the catwalk to the end. Once in Wheatley Hall, CCT is on the second floor, in a corridor paralleling the main corridor, part of the Advising Office for Curriculum and Instruction, room 2-157/9. The room numbers won't lead you there, so keep asking for help until you find the office.
On the T: Take the red line to JFK/UMass station. A free shuttle bus will carry you to the campus. MBTA buses following routes 8 & 16 also stop at the campus.
By car from the west and north: Take the Mass. Turnpike (I-90) to I-93 south and follow directions below.
By car from the north: Take I-93 south through Boston to exit 15 (JFK Library/South Boston/Dorchester) and follow the University of Masachusetts signs along Columbia Road and Morrissey Boulevard to the campus.
By car from the south: Take I-93 north to exit 14 (JFK Library/South Boston/Dorchester) and follow Morrissey Boulevard to the campus.
Parking: Indoor and outdoor parking is available for $4.00/day. Make your way through the parking lot to the southwest corner -- look for signs to Wheatley -- and take the stairs or elevator to second floor. Or climb up to the first or second levels. Then follow directions above.
